My name is Veronika and I am your host in the Residence Adler. It is my goal to make your stay as pleasant and independent as possible. I am happy to provide information, share my personal experiences, and offer recommendations for special excursions and restaurant visits.

Twenty-five years ago, I took over Residence Adler from my grandmother, after my mother had converted it from a bed and breakfast into a small apartment building with six residential units. In 2018, I invested in a modern garage with 12 parking spaces and two new, comfortable holiday apartments. This not only provides secure parking but also additional stylish accommodations for relaxing holidays—both on the ground floor with direct views of Fahlburg Castle.

I feel very comfortable in Prissiano-Tesimo. I can stay here without having to get in the car. There are plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat, all of which I can highly recommend, including a bakery, a small grocery store, and several farmers selling their delicacies like wine, cheese, honey, apple juice, jam, etc. I'm always happy when I go outside for a walk and breath the good air. There are countless walking and hiking trails, from easy to challenging, from half an hour to a whole day, suitable for all weather and all seasons. In summer, I cool off in the Prissiano stream or the Kneipp facility, or I stop at the public outdoor pool in Tesimo. Afterwards, I relax on the balcony or the couch.  In the cooler or cold season, I drink a herbal tea with local honey, while reading a good book or watching a movie or documentary. Or I relax in the Finnish or infrared sauna. If I could, I would go on vacation here all year round...
